Short answer: choose 30×40 cm (12×16") for a desk, shelf, nursery or a gallery wall, and 45×60 cm (18×24") when the poster will hang on its own above a sofa, bed or sideboard. A simple rule for wall space
A print above furniture usually looks balanced when it is about two-thirds of the furniture's width, or when a group of prints together reaches that width. Over a 90 cm sideboard, a single 45×60 cm poster sits comfortably. Over a wider sofa, the larger size works best paired with one or two other prints. For a narrow wall, a hallway or a nursery, the 30×40 cm size is easier to place.
Hang the centre of the poster at roughly eye level, about 145–150 cm from the floor, unless it sits above furniture; then leave around 20–25 cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.

Frequently asked questions
Does the larger size show more of the chart?
No. Both sizes show the same complete chart. The 45×60 cm version is scaled up, so it reads better from a distance.
