Natal Atelier ("we", "us") is a brand of Lexoford Pod FZC, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit natalatelier.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Birth details — what makes us different

To create your poster or astrology book we ask for a name, a birth date, a birth time (optional) and a birthplace. We convert the birthplace into map coordinates and a time zone. We use these details only to:

  • show you a live preview of your chart on the product page;
  • calculate your chart and produce your print file, your one-page reading or your personalised e-book;
  • handle reprints or questions about your order.

We do not use birth details for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than your order, and we never sell them. Live previews are generated on the fly and are not stored. After you order, your birth details are saved with your order in Shopify, and your print file, reading and e-book are kept for up to 12 months so we can handle reprints and re-sends, after which the files are deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner (see "Your rights").

Why we can use your information

We process your birth details and order information because it is necessary to make and deliver what you ordered and to provide customer support (performance of our contract with you). We send marketing emails only with your consent, and we keep certain records to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Other information we collect

  • Order and contact details: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, items purchased.
  • Payment information: processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies on our Shopify store.
  • Messages you send us.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the shop and fulfil your order:

  • Shopify — our store and checkout platform;
  • Gelato — our print and shipping partner, which receives your print file and shipping address;
  • Cloudflare — hosting of our order system and secure, private storage of print files;
  • Resend — delivery of order emails such as your chart reading and e-book;
  • delivery carriers chosen by Gelato.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

International transfers

Lexoford Pod FZC is based in the United Arab Emirates. Our service providers process data in other countries, including the European Union and the United States, so when you use our site or place an order your information is transferred outside the UAE (and possibly outside your own country) as necessary to provide our services. We rely on each provider's data processing terms, which include contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where applicable, and we share only what each provider needs.

Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you sign up for them, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you can opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@natalatelier.com. We may need to verify your identity and will reply within the time required by applicable law. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Security and retention

We use encrypted connections and private storage, but no system is perfectly secure. We keep order records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Children

Our shop is not directed at children and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you order a poster or book for a child, the birth details are provided by you as the adult placing the order and are used only to make that product.
